Digital Support for Teachers’ Teaching. Current Experience on Using Internet Facilities in Virtual University Environments.

Abstracts English: This paper describes the know‐how gathered by the author from 1995 until now, using a personal homepage and university Internet facilities to support his teaching activity. This activity covers different disciplines ('Introduction to Computers’ and ‘Information Systems') for students from different courses (Literature, Economics, Communication Engineering), which includes non‐technological students from the first and second years of their curricula. Based on that experience some guidelines on how to structure information on web pages and examples are discussed. The impact on students and some co‐operation with other professors are also reported. These results demonstrate the author's point of view that can be stated as follows: web support needs a strong content orientation and presents best results as a teaching tool when used in action‐oriented tasks.
