Lens focus adjusting method and adjusting apparatus

The present invention relates to a lens focus adjusting method that prevents a lens barrel from excessively bumping against a collet part or compressing during the process of adjusting the lens focus. To this end, in a camera module including a lens housing having a female screw on the inner circumferential surface thereof and a lens barrel having a male screw on the outer circumferential surface thereof so that the lens barrel is screw-coupled to the lens housing, the lens focus adjusting method, in which the vertical position of the lens barrel seated on the collet part is adjusted so as to adjust the focus of the lens, includes: a step of transferring the camera module toward the collet part, i.e., in a relative first direction; a step of photographing the camera module during the transferring of the camera module; a step of detecting the load value applied to the camera module while the camera module is seated on the collet part; a step of determining whether the load value is less than a set value in order to continuously transfer the camera module when the load value is less than the set value and to stop the transferring of the camera module when the load value is equal to the set value; and a step of forwardly/reversely rotating the lens barrel to focus the lens when the transferring of the camera module is stopped.
