Comments on Córdoba and Midgley: the Javeriana case

I would like to congratulate the authors on applying their ideas in practice and writing up their experiences (Córdoba and Midgley, 2006). As an advocate of participation in OR in general and in information systems (IS) strategy development in particular, I welcome their paper. I want to comment on a number of issues that their intervention raises in my mind when I compare it with my own experience.
