Ring-connected ring (RCR) topology for high-speed networking: analysis and implementation

The paper discusses the problems associated with the conventional ring topology and suggests a ring-connected-ring (RCR) topology to tackle some of these problems. Implementation details as well as the analysis of this topology are provided in the article.
