Wireless Data Acquisition System for Remote Care of Newly Born Prematures

This work describes the project and the development for the verification of the functionality of control of environmental greatness in newborn premature incubator through a hardware group and program modules, that integrated the programming language C for PIC microcontrollers and C++ Buider 6 for interface for the serial port of the acquired data with the PIC18F4520 microcontroller, propitiate to the world express conditions so that temperature data, relative humidity, air flow velocity and sound pressure of an newly born premature incubator are tested, monitored and stored in real time. These data can be viewed at the acquisition place or remotely through a TCP/IP network, Internet or by GSM/GPRS cellular phones by a wireless application protocol (WAP)
