Aesthetic Reduction of Pinocchio-Nose Hemangioma Hemangioma

A "Pinocchio" appearance produced by hemangioma within the tip of the nose is a condition of great embarrassment to both the child and the parents. Although there are many hemangiomas that do regress, to be certain which are going to involute and disappear is impossible. This communication illustrates a practically bloodless removal of hemangioma, with reconstruction of the nose. (Arch Otolaryngol102:416-419, 1976)
