The system for achieving the intelligent installation of the network equipment comprises an intelligent installation client terminal, a DHCP server and a FTP/TFTP server, wherein the DHCP server is used for distributing configuration parameters for the intelligent installation client terminal; the FTP/TFTP server is used for storing version files and configuration files of the intelligent installation client terminal; the intelligent installation client terminal is connected with the DHCP server and obtains the configuration parameters from the DHCP server; the intelligent installation client terminal is connected with the FTP/TFTP server according to the information of the configuration parameters and obtains the version files and the configuration files; the intelligent installation client terminal updates the equipment according to the obtained version files and the configuration files. According to the system and method for achieving the intelligent installation of the network equipment, automatic configuration and upgrades of the network equipment can be achieved, so that the workload of an operator for configuring the network equipment on site is relieved, and network deployment efficiency is greatly enhanced.
