Etude et Commande d’un Moteur Synchrone Linéaire à Aimants

The purpose of this project is to study and control a permanent magnet synchronous linear motor. The modeling of the motor is done by a finite element method analysis using a freeware (FEMM). It allows to calculate the magnetic induction at all points as well as the normal, traction and cogging forces. The control method of this type of motor (trapezoidal e.m.f.), must estimate the position of the mobile, by using Hall-effect sensors and the integration of accelerometer signals. In order to improve the resolution of the sensors taken individually, we propose to combine their data to obtain the position of the mobile.
