Jednostkowe aspekty bycia fanem, czyli w stronę nowego paradygmatu „fan studies”

The text characterizes the newest directions of fan studies – a discipline dealing with a specific segment of media audiences – fans. It provides a description of fan studies paradigms that dominated until now. It is shown that the most recent paradigm – a mainstream paradigm – slowly returns to the notion treating a fan as an individual. The author provides a differentiation between four fields of mainstream paradigm concentrated on an individual fan. The article indicates that we may be close to the establishment of a new paradigm of fan studies – paradigm of an individual.
