cyclo -Tris( 2 -3-phenyl-1 H -pyrazole)tricopper(I)

The crystal structure of the title compound, [Cu3(C9H7N2)3], consists of discrete CuI–phenylpyrazolyl trimers, with Cu atoms bridged by exo-bidentate phenylpyrazolyl ligands having short intramolecular Cu⋯Cu contacts [3.2076 (14)–3.2402 (14) A]. The Cu3N6 nine-membered rings are essentially planar.
