Integration of pass-band filters in patch antennas.

In this paper, we present the possibility to insert pass-band filters directly in a patch antenna in order to reduce the size of microwave front ends and to master the bandwidth of the antenna. In a first step, commercial filters are used and mounted on the antenna. Then, we propose to develop miniaturized integrated filters which can be directly integrated into the patch antenna.
