C6.1 - Cocoon: Cooperative Sensorcommunication – a new approach towards Wireless Communication in Sensor Networks

Innovation in wireless communication enables the majority of the worlds population to use mobile phones and wireless networks. Ubiquitous communication requires sophisticated networks, well- connected mobile devices, progress in base-technologies and communication paradigms. The LOEWE priority program Cocoon (Cooperative Sensorcommunication, funded by the state of Hesse, Germany) puts an emphasis on comprehensive research in the field of networks, signal processing and reconfigurable transceiver architectures, and aims to verify the usability of these communication paradigms in Smart Cities and Car-to-X communication.
