Analysis of dynamic response time of MR damper and its influential factors

Dynamic response time is an extremely important character of MR damper,and it directly determines the control frequency,application range and the effect of MR damper.The dynamic response time was defined as the time interval from the time when damping force initialed to the time when damping force reached 63.2 percent of the difference between initial and stable damping force.The acquired arising and descending curves of damping force were processed and statistically analyzed,and response time under different testing condition was acquired.The influences under each condition such as different linking mode of electromagnetic coils,different amplitude of step current,different piston speed and working temperature were analyzed.At last,the reasonable explanation was given out.
