An Anti-attack Method for Digital Image Hiding Based on MIP

Anti-attack method based on mipmapping is discussed to improve the security of transferring and storing of digital image. MIP comes from the Latin “multum in parvo”, meaning “many things in a small place”. The kernel of this method is that hiding digital image and compressed original digital image are inserted into the appointed position in MIP, while hiding digital image is no longer hidden in the original public image. When the hiding digital image needs to be reconstructed, we can surely restore it even if the public image has been destroyed strongly. Our experimental results demonstrate the algorithm is reliable and feasible in certain conditions.
