DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF A CRITERION FOR ASSESSING THE ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE OF INDUSTRIAL ROOMS

This paper presents a criterion for assessing the acoustic performance of industrial rooms. This criterion has been defined from numerical simulations by using the Rayscat predictive acoustic software. It allows a distinction between reverberant industrial halls and those for which an efficient acoustic treatment has been performed. The criterion has been validated on the basis of experimental data obtained in more than 200 industrial rooms.
