A viscoelastic model for the mechanical properties of biological materials.

Abstract An attempt has been made to propose a theoretical model to explain the viscoelastic behaviour of biological materials. The creep and stress-relaxation predicted using the theoretical model were found to be very close to the experimental results observed.
