Radar cross-section of microstrip antenna on normally biased ferrite substrate

Calculated results for the radar cross-section of a microstrip antenna on a ferrite substrate are presented, and it is shown that the peaks in the RCS can be moved with respect to frequency by changing the magnetic bias field. This effect offers a way of minimising the radar visibility of microstrip antennas and arrays.
