Summary Ps. putrefaciens was isolated from churns and from the insulation of a leaky vat. At certain points the organism was present in considerable numbers. In addition to Ps. putrefaciens , micrococci, spore-forming bacteria, gram-negative rods and often yeasts and molds were present.
