Infrared spectroscopic parameters of COF2, SF6, ClO, N2, and O2

Abstract The spectroscopy of the infrared bands of COF 2 , SF 6 , ClO, N 2 , and O 2 is reviewed. Based on recent work, several improved sets of spectroscopic parameters have been generated and are included in the 1991 and 1992 versions of the HITRAN database. Anticipated future improvements and areas in need of further work are discussed.
