NetneutralitywasanFCCorderthatspecifiedtheprinciplesforInternetServiceProviders.Themost prevalentprincipleswererelatedtobandwidththrottling,preferentialtreatments,andprivacy.Some describedtheactionoftheFCCwillleadtotheendoftheInternetandconsumerprivacy.There havebeenmanyarticlesdiscussingaboutthefalloutoftheruling,butitisdifficultfilteringfactfrom fiction.Inthisarticle,theauthorsdiscussthenatureofnetneutrality,thehistory,theargumentsfor andagainst,andtherolesoftheFCCandtheirmanyorders.Theyalsolayouttheimplicationofrepeal onsecurityandprivacy.TheypresentafewscenariosspecifyingwhatanISPcandoandcannotdo.
