Common-offset common-reflection-surface stack method

In order to fully utilize the far-offset information to obtain the stacked section of the subsurface in complicated geological conditions, the common-offset common-reflection-surface(CO CRS) stack was developed based on the conventional zero-offset common-reflection-surface(ZO CRS) stack.Determining the corresponding five parameters of stacking operator for every imaging point in the stack section is the key of CO CRS stacking method.By using split strategy for searching parameters,i.e separately searching the related stacking parameters in different gathers, the calculation time of CO CRS stack reduces and the difficulty of computational efficiency is effectively resolved in the actual application. The application results on model data show that compared with the image section by the conventional ZO CRS stack, the image section by CO CRS stack is relatively good in the aspect of signal-to-noise ratio and the continuity of reflection event, which proves the effectiveness and practicability of this searching algorithm.
