Study on the Leak in the Hydraulic Transient Simulation of the Pipeline

When there is a leak point in the pipeline,the pressure is fallen and the negative pressure wave occurs at once. The negative pressure wave will transmit in pipeline and separately transmit to the first inspection point and the last inspection point. Based on VB language and the theory of the negative pressure wave of leak,the analytical procedure of the leaky hydraulic transient properties is written. The characteristic of hydraulic transient is analyzed in order to find leak point precisely for a special pipeline.
