Information needs and information seeking behaviour of rural dwellers in Nigeria: a case study of Ekpoma in Esan West local government area of Edo State, Nigeria

The extent and nature of rural populations in Nigeria is described. A study is reported which examined the information needs of rural populations in the Ekpoma district and its conclusions are discussed. These include information needs and information sources, and the information gathering habits discovered.
