Compared to common cold rolling condition,the reduction of temper rolling is very small,so the elastic deformation of strip and the roll flattening have great influence on the distribution of rolling pressure,and the conventional assumption of circular arc roll shape become no more appropriate.An analytic model is deduced to calculate roll flattening for stepwise quadratic distributed pressure,and Karman's theory is adopted to calculate the elastic-plastic deformation of strip,a rolling force model for cold strip temper rolling mill is developed considering the effects of rolling velocity on deformation resistance.The calculated results show good agreement with the measured data,and the speed is high,which prove that the model can be used as a pre-setting roll force model for cold strip temper rolling mill.
