The invention provides a modeling method for substation intelligent alarm. The modeling method comprises: building a protection action element inference model by aiming at a substation relay protection action element; building the mapping relation of primary equipment, secondary equipment, measurement data, status data and protection information and configuration information of a relay protection device; obtaining a wire connection mode of the primary equipment and the connection relation with an adjacent interval through network topology; on the basis of an expert system knowledge database, building a fault inference model by aiming at various fault conditions, signs, process characteristics and result information; and adopting a fault description language which is based on an extensible markup language (XML) to describe the protection action element inference model and the fault inference model. The fault inference model is built according to a topological structure, element parameters and fault characteristics of a substation and has the characteristics of realization of flexibility, convenience in extension, strong adaptability and the like, so that high actionability is obtained for fault inference on the basis of the fault inference model.
