An Integrated Method for Estimation with Superimposed Failure Data

In this paper, a new integrated algorithm is proposed to estimate the superposed renewal processes (SRP) by considering both failure data configurations for the first few observed failures and inter-failure time asymptotic distribution for rest observed failures. Simulation studies are provided to show that the proposed method performs well. Also, we derive the log-likelihood function of this integrated method for censored data and present some simulation studies to verify the approach.
