Complete simulation of a static convertor by digital and analogue methods

Abstract The authors put forward a method of complete simulation of static converters which demands no a-priori knowledge of the functioning of the device under examination. This type of simulation is particularly well adapted to the description of transients. The setting-up of the method is envisaged in both analogue and numerical forms, and an example of its application illustrates, in either case, the special features of each of the two forms of simulation.
