Application of Three-phase PWM Rectifier with LCL-filter

To reduce the current harmonics around switching frequency of the three-phase pulsewidth modulation (PWM) rectifiers,a LCL filter is adopted.The addition of a LCL filter poses a problem of performance degradation and potential instability.A control method based on damping resistor in series with capacitance of LCL filter is presented.The results of simulative using Matlab show the validity of the proposed method.Moreover,the good agreement which was obtained through simulative and experimental results validate the proposed approach.
