Recently, heat exchanger has been increasing interest and application for energy savings and indoor environment improvement. Heat exchanger that is air to air type transfer heat energy from exhaust air to supply air. As a result, It is possible energy savings for heating and cooling through pre-heating or pre-cooling effect and, fresh air is supplied indoors. Major components of the heat exchanger is improving the highest level through the technology development of fan, heat exchange element, filters, etc. However, components of the heat exchanger alter the performance depending on structure design. Suction part of the fan set in the middle of keeping a certain distance between heat exchange element of the hexagon shape and filter for the ideal heat exchanger design. The reasons for using equally function of each component prevent the windage as much as possible. But, Heat exchange element that is designed structure can check each component in the flank is installed as block form for high-capacity. This study measure the efficiency change and air flow formation in the heat exchanger to check the validity of design.
