Study of Demand-Side Resources Collaborative Optimization System Based on the Cloud & Edge Computing

With the progress of big data and internet computing technology, the optimal schedule of power demand side resources could be achieved online to improve the safety level and the operational benefits of power systems. This paper conducted the study on demand side information fusion, dynamic schedule of the edge computing resources, demandside resources collaborative optimization, and solution design for the demand-side resources collaborative optimization system based on cloud & edge computing. The key technologies, functional architecture and system framework for the implementation of the demand-side resources collaborative optimization system based on the cloud & edge computing are proposed. By developing the collaborative optimization system software for demand-side resources based on cloud & edge computing, it provides informatization support means to carry out intelligent power utilization service business under UEIOT (Ubiquitous Electric Internet of Things) as well as energy utilization management. The field test illustrates the economic benefits of the developed demand-side resources collaborative optimization system.
