층류 천이 제어를 통한 축류 압축기 익형 손실 감소

For modern gas turbine axial compressor, efficiency is most important target of design. Especially for over 200MW class gas turbine, 1 percent improvement of efficiency can benefit millions costs of fuel. To improve the efficiency, in this paper introduce some unique compressor airfoil design which has highly front loaded shape to control profile losses. Also, this airfoil can control the laminar - turbulent transition region in leading edge of airfoil, which causes strong loss reduction. In this paper, geometry parameters that cause the transition is shown and actual loss and efficiency comparison using 2D and 3D CFD analysis is performed.
