Cheat-proofing and Cheat-detection Mechanism for P2P MMOG

This paper proposes a Cheat-Proofing and Cheat-Detection mechanism that is suitable for MMOG based on P2P,including improved NEO protocol and RMbCD algorithm.In NEO protocol frame duration is adjusted by two-sided Hypothesis Testing.In RMbCD algorithm detecting parameter thresholds are dynamically changed with player reputation.The simulation results show that dynamical change of frame duration can reduce the influence of network and Reputation Management can reduce the miscarriage of justice rate of original Cheat-Detection algorithm.Under this mechanism game parameters are dynamically changed with network condition or player reputation,so that the adaptivity of game is well.Furthermore the strategy proposed in this paper can solve many kinds of cheatings simultaneously,so that it's more secure than the original ones.
