Fine Evaluation Method of Dynamic Water-Flooding Reserves Control Degree of Mature Oilfields

Water-flooding reserves control degree is an important index for evaluating reservoir performance under water-flooding development. Accurate calculation of this index of different types of reservoirs offers significance guidance in adjusting injection-production layers, modifying well pattern and improving water-flooding development performance. A precise calculation method which applies computational geometry algorithms and theories fluid mechanics in porous medium by combining static and dynamic, monitoring and stimulation data and considering various factors such as patterns and distribution of sand bodies and faults, injection and production performance, well status of perforated or sealed has been proposed. This method is applicable to the reservoirs with complex fault blocks, strong heterogeneity, irregular well pattern, and frequent re-perforation or shifting of production layers. The application results in more than ten oilfields of CNPC such as Dagang Oilfield, Jilin Oilfield, Xinjiang Oilfield demonstrate the high calculation accuracy.
