An optical fiber communication ring network based partial discharge measurement data transmission system and its control method. According to the system provided by the invention, hardware devices such as partial discharge acquisition units, a communication management unit, a multimode communication optical cable and the like form an annular communication link. By adoption of an annular serial bus master-slave type communication mode, a host computer data server is used as a master node and each partial discharge acquisition unit is used as a slave node. By strict sequential management among the main and slave nodes, the utilization rate of the optical fiber ring network is raised, high-efficiency mass data transmission is realized and data transmission efficiency on the optical fiber ring network bus is improved. By strict data transmission logic control of the remote optical fiber ring network, on-site partial discharge measurement data can be effectively and timely sent at high speed to the host computer data server in an office automaton system. Therefore, partial discharge fault analysis personnel can obtain first on-site electricity test data in the daily office environment and carry out spectrum drawing, contrast, fault analysis and defect location on the measured data.
