A Study on Applications of Workshop for Building Pubulic Facilities

Town planning workshops are divided into two types; workshops for building facilities and making plans, and workshops for gathering information. The workshops for building facilities aim to provide public facilities for the town and are organized by residents, administrators, specialists and designers. In this study, we examined two building facility workshops; Suehiro Park in Tokushima city and a community center building in Shirasagi-dai in Tokushima city. Then we examined some of the problems and conditions encountered the workshop in order to make the workshop more successful.
