Analysis of the Factors Affecting Sustainable Electronic Supply Chains in Healthcare Centers: An Interpretive-Structural Modeling Approach

To improve their long-term performance, organizations must maintain their business operations and practices over time. They can do so by engaging in sustainable practices aimed at meeting theinterestsoftheenterprise,andofitssuppliers,employees,andcustomersinthelongrun.Not surprisingly,theimplementationofsustainabilitypracticeshasexpandedinthehealthcareindustry. Informationtechnology(IT)isawaytopromotequality,security,andefficiencyinhealthcare.IT bringsvital information,andso important support to thecarepoint fordecision-making. It also allowstheassessmentofeverydayqualityturnintoasameasuredreality.Inthepresentstudy,the factorsaffectingthesustainabilityofelectronicsupplychainsinhealthcarecenterswereidentified usinglibrarymethodsandakeywordreviewoftheliterature.Then,therelationshipsbetweenthese factorswereanalyzedusinganinterpretive-structuralmodelingapproach.Theresultsrevealthat infrastructuremanagementandtechnologymanagementshouldbeconsideredthemostimportant factorsaffectingthesustainabilityofelectronicsupplychainsinhealthcarecenters.
