Camera calibration based on vanishing points in B-dual-space geometry

Compared with camera calibration methods,this paper introduces a camera calibration method based on vanishing points.The method is based on corresponding subject in B-dual-space geometry rooted in computational geometry.The paper uses the relationship about point,line and plane in chessboard image,combines the improved detection and computing technique about corner points.Firstly computing the x-axis and y-axis focuses of the camera’s inner parameters,secondly computing the corre-sponding parameters combined with optimization,finally acquiring the whole camera’s inner parameters.The method has the merits of simpleness and high precision in experimentation.
