The invention relates to an aerial diversity installation for the mobile reception of metre and decimetre waves. It consists of an aerial selector switch (2a) and a tuner (4a) to which the selected r.f. signal is taken by the aerial selector switch (2a), whereby the tuner (4a) has an output conducting the IF or the demodulated signal connected to a diversity processor (9a) in which the signal is evaluated. It depends on the result of the signal evaluation whether the aerial selector is triggered to switch further via a control line leading from the diversity processor (9a) to the aerial selector switch (2a). To this end there is an aerial distributor (1) with inputs and outputs, the inputs of which receive the aerial signals (A1, A2--An) and the output signals (1,--n) of which are taken to the aerial selector switch. The aerial distributor (1) has at least one further set of outputs (1,--n) each set being connected to its own aerial selector switch (2a, 2b), the output of which is connected to its own tuner (4a, 4b). Each tuner (4a, 4b) has an output which conducts the IF or the demodulated signal and leads to an allocated diversity processor (9a, 9b) which evaluates a signal adapted to the tuner allocated. On the basis of this signal evaluation the allocated aerial selector switch (2a, 2b) is controlled via a control line in such a way that it transmits a better input signal to its output.
