Center-of-gravity defuzzifier design for fuzzy logic controller

A fuzzy logic controller defuzzier was designed based on the transformation of a folded Gilbert multiplier circuit.The multi-access multiplier was designed to realize a multiplication operation between a single multiplicator and a group of multiplicands using the multi-access multiplier.The defuzzier is based on a normalization circuit and a weighted-sum circuit.The circuit was designed using Wuxi Shanghua(0.6 μm) mixed signal process transistor parameters.Hspice simulations indicate that the circuit provides defuzzification and can be used in VLSI implementations of fuzzy logic controllers.
