Cooperative UWB Communication Using Range Information

In this work, we propose a strategy to utilize the range information to create an interference free communication through a common shared channel. The performance of this scheme is compared with non-aided methods to quantify the benefits of using the range information in the communication. Proposed methods indicate that the throughput can be increa sed by 60 percent for a network having random placement of100 nodes with average distance of 10m between them.
