low Sport shoe especially for the practice of cross-country skiing

Low sport shoe, in particular for cross-country skiing, with a flexible shaft, the upper edge of which lies below the ankle of the user and which surrounds the foot, with inner rigid welting leathers which are arranged in the lower and rear part of the shaft on both sides of the ankle, and with an elongate clamping member of adjustable length, which at its front ends is attached to the shoe and runs behind and towards the upper and rear part of the shaft in order securely to clamp the upper edge of the shaft around the foot. This shoe is characterised in that the elongate clamping member is inclined on each side of the shoe from the top to the bottom and from the rear to the front in such a manner that it extends above the upper edge of the corresponding inner rigid welting leather.
