System and method for storing and using information related to geographic areas that are of interest to a mobile user

Assembly comprising: a first mobile device that is operable to receive a waypoint comprises information associated with a geographical position of a first mobile user, and to send; and a remotely provided apparatus which is operatively connected to the first mobile device and is disposed away from the first mobile device, wherein the remote device provided is operable to: Receiving the light emitted by the first mobile device waypoint; Storing the radiation emitted by the first mobile device waypoint, wherein the stored waypoint includes data indicative of the geographical position of the first mobile user; Determining a street address corresponding to the geographical position of the first mobile user; Storing the address data representing the road as part of the waypoint; the first mobile user allowing the waypoint on both of the first mobile device and an alternative access device which is operatively connected to the remote device provided and provided by the first mobile device removed to call again and to change; and Transmitting the waypoint to a second mobile device, wherein said transmitted waypoint includes data representative of the street address, and a name that identifies the waypoint as sent from the first mobile user.
