The pressure control method using thermostatic expansion valve and pressure stat devices in a air conditioning system for ship has many difficulties to accomplish required air conditions. These difficulties are slow response time to load change and indirect control of supply air to indoor space. The pressure control method occurs frequent on/off to compressor and shortens life-time of air conditioning system. Therefore, developments are demanded for these problems. In this study, The temperature control method using electric expansion valve and PLC(Programmable Logic Control) is applied to 1×100% AHU(Air Handling Unit) and 2×60% condensing units to alternate the pressure control method. As result of this study, The temperature control method is possible to more accurate and easy control of supplied air temperature. Consequently, improvement of stability, life-time expansion of system are possible. Unification of control(Cooling + Heating + Humidity + CO2 control), simple composition of apparatus and easy operation are possible, too.
