Design and manufacturing of conformal antenna array on a conical surface at 5.2 GHz

This article presents the design of a conformal printed antenna array on a conical surface; two prototypes have been fabricated with a conventional technology and with the Protopaint-LDS® technology; our results are found to be in good agreement with the numerical ones and both technologies are compared, showing the benefits and drawbacks of each one.
