Os tratamentos para a taquara foram: testemunha; corte total e abandono; corte total e retirada; corte total e abandono (2x); corte total + corte sub-dossel (DAP Survival of Araucaria angustifolia seedlings at a bamboo (Bambusoideae) control experiment in Parana, Brazil Abstract Bamboos (Bambusoideae) play an important role in the regeneration of Araucaria forests. The poor regeneration of Araucaria may be attributed to an influence from the bamboos. To test this, an experiment was established in the General Carneiro county, in a plot of 1.00 hectare, installed in a completely randomized experimental design, with five repetitions and the following treatments applied to the bamboos: Control (no bamboo felling); Total felling and abandon; Total felling and removal; Total felling and abandon, twice; Total felling and abandon plus cut of the understory trees (DBH
