Modal Simulation Analysis of Spur Gear System Based on Finite Element Method

Gear transmission system is used most extensively in mechanical transmission and its working performance has a crucial impact on the whole equipment.In order to avoid vibration of gear system in engagement process,dynamic performance is simulated and analyzed by using finite element method.It focuses on parameterization designing and building solid model of the wheel gear by using the software SolidWorks2008 based on the straight gear system of a certain machine tool firstly.Then,the parameterized model is leaded into the finite element analysis software ANSYS.The previous six natural frequency and mode of vibration of this gear system can get through model analysis which adopts the finite element analysis software ANSYS.The results of model analysis provide references to dynamic optimization design of the gear system.
