Environmental technology directory makes debut

What its authors dub the "first-ever directory" to environmental technology products and services in Europe has been published by Earthscan Publications, London, as the "ENTEC Directory of Environmental Technology." The multilingual volume—in English, French, German, and Spanish—covers such areas of environmental concern as water, waste, air pollution, energy, and noise and vibration. It could be particularly valuable to U.S. organizations not as familiar with European technology suppliers as their European counterparts are. The directory was compiled by J. E. G. Larson, director of ENTEC Press, over several years. His aim was to pull together information that could be of use to businesses, government agencies, and other organizations that have to find ways to minimize the environmental impact of their operations as they struggle to meet pressures of consumer concern and regulations from various levels of government.
