Implications for Art Education in the Third Millennium: Art Technology Integration

Most would agree that today art education is far more complex than making pumpkin paintings in October. For one, ar t educat ion continually evolves in respo nse to ar ts techno logy integration . But, what exactly are the implicat ions for art education in the new millenn ium? In this article, I will present and show some of the pro blems of the lifeand educational issues related to art technology integration and then provide a list and explanation of what I consider to be important points to remember when approach ing the teach ing of comp uter technology in art education.
