Recovery stages in Mg, Zr and Ti after neutron irradiation at low temperature

Abstract The recovery spectrums of Me. Zr and Ti are studied by means of measurements of the electrical resistivity after fast neutron irradiation at ∼5 K. The effect of radiation doping before the low temperature irradiation on the recovery stages are investigated for Zr and Ti. Radiation doping at room temperature hardly enhances stage I recovery. These results suggest that stage III of Zr and Ti would probably be the 250 K stage and would be due to the vacancy migration.
