G1 Smooth Connection Between Rectangular and Triangular Bézier Patches at a Common Corner

Abstract We study the smooth connection between any numbers L and M of rectangular and triangular Bezier patches meeting at a common corner in any combination. We obtain the constraints guaranteeing their G 1 continuity, and show how they are interrelated and can be solved.
